Buying Investment Property in Phuket, Thailand
When my husband and I received a large inheritance from his father’s business, we wondered what would be the safest commodity to invest it in. Our broker said that our portfolio was pretty full and maybe we should consider real estate, even in a foreign country. There would be tax benefits in it for us as well. After doing some inquiring, we were told of the Phuket property currently being developed in Thailand. I doubt that I have ever seen a more lovely spot, if the photos are accurate. We have booked a flight in two weeks to check it out for ourselves. I may not want it as an investment. I might just want to call it “home.”
