What Is Windows Registry, And Why Is It Important

When my computer started slowing down, I thought it was most likely a virus but a friend of mine suggested that I get max registry cleaner, he told me it would clean out my computer of what was slowing it down, and he was right, I also learned a lot about what the Windows registry was. The Windows registry is a database that contains information about a computer’s configuration. As you use your computer the registry begins to grow, as it does it attracts obsolete and unnecessary information, it starts to become cluttered and start to fragment. With the growing of the registry, it can begin to slow the whole system and cause many weird software problems. That’s why keeping your registry clean is so important.
