Email Targeted threats
I recently got an email from a friend of mine that had a lot of vulgar information in it. I knew that it was not actually from my friend, so I started checking out if anyone else I knew was getting anything like it. When few of us got together, we all realized that we had a similar program on our hard drives. We decided we needed to remove antivirus live as it seemed to be causing some major problems with our email programs. It must have targeted is since we tend to do a lot of communication through email. Fortunately, no dangerous information was shared.
