A Tradtion of Giving Starts Small
They may be small, but athlete vinyl figurines played a big role with my school’s basketball team and their dads. It is a big deal for father son day for the players to get a gift for their fathers. It is a new tradition, but we have been doing it the past couple of years and we want to keep it going. I don’t know who suggested the figurines first, I only remember who said it the loudest. When the center raised his 7 foot frame and said he would be proud to give one to his dad, and then wiped a tear from his face, we knew it was something we had to do.
