My Dad is So Protective
My exmormon dad told me years ago that if I ever married a man who abused me – who even hit me one time, he would kill him. I’m pretty sure he meant it, so I chose wisely and have a very sweet and gentle husband. My dad always had different rules for us girls than our brother. We couldn’t go to the park by ourselves in case a group of boys decided to attack us or something. It frustrated us, by now I know our exmormon dad meant well. I will probably be very much the same with my own kids, only I probably won’t let my boys go to the park by themselves either.
