Children’s Miracle Network Total Donation
Have you heard how much y’all raised for the Children’s Miracle Network?! You are amazing, as witnessed by the giant (literally!) check presented to Tom Lazour, the CMN representative, today. For the first six months of 2009, our donation was $21,635.00. This money was received by children’s hospitals around the country, and it stays in the area where it was raised.
Please take a moment to notice the additional Children’s Miracle Network expressions scattered throughout the new modern nursery wall decals catalog. We hope your customers like them as much as we do, and that we can donate even more to CMN for the kids next year. We can’t think of a better place for our donations to go.
The Spirit of Uppercase Living Award
In keeping with Uppercase Living’s corporate values, this special award was created for the person nominated by her peers as the Demonstrator who enriches, uplifts, and inspires. This inaugural annual award was presented to Senior Director, Sue Bridgeman of Evans, Colorado to honor her as the person who best represents the spirit that Uppercase Living hopes to engender in the world.
Sue received a beautiful, custom-designed necklace of sterling silver and peridot, which is Uppercase Living’s signature color. Each year, an original piece of jewelry will be created as a memento for the winner of this notable award. For Sue’s story, read the upcoming newsletter.
