Makeup for Summer – Trends and Styles
If you are tired of the same old makeup routine, summer is a great time to try out some new makeup looks. This summer brings a fresh, clean and natural look with splashes and bright colors for the eyes and lips. Heavy foundation is not advised for warm summer weather, as it tends to look heavy and does not fare well in the hot sun. A better option is to a use a tinted daytime moisturizer that has SPF sun protection.
Summer eye makeup calls for bright colors, in yellows, blues, purples and teals. Nothing is more fashionable this summer than colorful eye makeup that makes them pop. Also, metallic eye shadows are still a favorite and in full force this season, with shiny tones of teals, grays and golds and bronze. Lips will be favored in cherry red, but if that’s not your color, high gloss is in, in any shades of pinks or corals as well as good old clear.
