Holidays is the Season For Giving
I am an elementary school teacher, and there is no better feeling that self satisfaction from helping in a child go on to become a productive citizen in life. My class loves the holiday season, because that is when they get a chance to give. Every year, each child gets to write a letter to a soldier and they also get to send military care packages. They understand that these men and women are away from the family on the holidays to protect the country that we live in. I explain to them that it is a way of telling them that they are appreciated.
