From 1926 to Now

In 1926 Coco Chanel published a picture in Vogue magazine of something extraordinary, the little black dress. The dress was a very simple calf length, straight lined dress. It had a few diagonal lines for decoration, but that was it. The dress was plain, simple, and black. Vogue said it would become a “uniform for women of taste.” They weren’t wrong. Over 80 years later the little black dress is still a staple of the modern woman’s wardrobe. Something every woman owns it stands the test of time. The little black dress has become a legacy created by Coco Chanel.
