Accountant Looking to Retire
When I became an certified public accountant in 1967, I thought that I would retire within twenty years. As it turns out, I enjoy the work so much that I am only now considering it more than forty years later. I like the flexibility of having my own office, and I like helping people with something they need. Now that I am going to retire, I will probably do even more to help people on a personal basis. The main reason I am going to retire is that my vision is getting really bad. The doctor called it age related macular degeneration, my wife says that I have been staring at numbers too long.
