Getting a Degree in Audiology
Audiologists, who evaluate and fit people for hearing aids digital, have a rigorous school program to study. To get into an audiology program, they have to take classes in biology, chemistry, communication, English, math, psychology, and physics. They have to get a doctoral degree, and in their curriculum, they have to take classes in acoustics, anatomy, audiology, balance, cochlear implants, counseling, electrophysiology, ethics, hearing aids, neurology, pharmacology, physics, physiology, and sign language. Then they must pass the licensure requirements in their state.
