I did not know how to work my software
After buying a new computer I did not realize how to use the firewall software. I did not know that it had to be turned on before it would work. For some reason I thought that it would just work every time I turned on the computer. I quickly learned that I was mistaken. I got a little virus that was easily gotten rid of. It scared me bad enough that I went ahead and started learning everything I could about my firewall software. Once I saw that it had to be turned on I felt like such a dummy. I now turn it on everything I get on the Internet.
