I’m a beach person. When it comes to vacations, I always have to experience the local waters, sand and sun. So, anyway, I’m going to Israel and I’m currently planning my trip. Are there any Haifa hotels that are located near the beach? I hear Haifa’s beach stretches in kilometers in the southwest side. Also, I heard that there’s a part of the beach that has a boardwalk with many cafes and restaurants that are always busy during the day and the night. I wish there’s a way for me to find out whether or not there are any good (and preferably cheap) hotels near the beach, too.

When my friend Sandra said she and Art were going on vacation to an island paradise, I’m thinking Bermuda, Hawaii, or any of the other islands we are all so familiar with. I was shocked when she said they were going to enjoy Tenerife holidays. I had never heard of the island but it is one of the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. It’s a Spanish island that has blended Spanish, Latin American, and African cultures — music, food, dress, and love of celebrations. Her pictures showed me a gorgeous island with lots to do and people who enjoyed doing it. I’m making my plans for my trip.

There are many places in this world that I would like to visit. I tend to be an adventurous person, so I want to go to countries the most unlike my own United States. Last year I went to Australia because I heard so much about the outback. Seeing all those kangaroos was worth every penny I spent. This year I am going to Africa.
