Key to a Great Gift

My husband surprised me with a new car for Christmas last year. It was just like you see in the commercials. It came with one of those giant bows wrapped around it and he wrapped up the key in a box for me to open on Christmas Day. One of the biggest shockers however, was that he was able to secure Car Loan Financing for it. You see, we just came off a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. We paid it off and got out legitimately, but we didn’t think we would qualify for a loan for a very long time. I’m thankful that we did though.

Know What Your Breakdown Cover Includes

I cannot recommend to enough people to take the time to find out what is and what is not included in your car breakdown cover contract. The other day I went out to the car only to find that my rear tires – both of them – were flat. My husband had already left for work so I just went back in and called my breakdown service. I could not believe that they would not come fix the flat tires because the car was parked at my home. Apparently, the service my husband chose does not have Home Cover. I’m going to convince him to change our plan so I don’t get stuck again!

No Price on Safety

One great thing about having breakdown cover is that it gives you a sense of safety in case something happens. Whether it is with your car, truck, or motorcycle you can reassured that someone will be there to help. No one wants to sit in their car in the pouring rain or in extremely cold weather. Having coverage will allow you to wait instead of walking off in the rain or snow. Hazardous weather can end up causing harm especially on the side of the road, and having the type of coverage that can have someone assist you within 1 hour is always worth the extra money.

How Married People Get Auto Loans

When I got married my husband and I had an old beat up car. That car took us to a lot of places, even though it was old. One day, we were talking and we decided that we needed to do something about our situation and get a new one. We wanted to get a minivan because we were thinking about starting a family. Auto Loans advertisements were being sent in the mail a lot at the time. We already had some money saved up, so we decided to go to one the places that sent an advertisement. We applied and got approved.

Think Before You Buy

I can tell you from personal experiences that you should always think before you buy anything. Always compare van insurance, especially if your in a business. I am a carpet installer, and chose the cheapest I could possibly get so I can get up and running. Well, the van I had purchased wasn’t the greatest, and half way through driving to one of my jobs, the brakes gave out. I rear ended a car in the back, and had to come out of my own pocket to pay for a new bumper and paint jump because my collision coverage was practically non-existent. So please, think on what you should get before diving head first into anything.

Top 5 most reliable Tractors for Sale

Ford, Case IH, Massey Ferguson, John Deer, New Holland, Kubota, White, Allis-Chalmers, and the list keeps going.  One thing they have in common is all of them believe they have the most trustworthy tractor.  So which one really does?  Just like Ford, Chevy, and Dodge, most shoppers have their favorite brands.  However [*COMMA] for the used tractor buyer, the most important concerns are which brand will be the most trustworthy, with the smallest amount of maintenance and cheapest parts.  This is the age old question when tractor shopping.   When having a look at fendt tractors for sale under forty hp, nothing is better than a Kubota.  The original cost may not be the least expensive, but in the future, it’d be cheaper to have than other sub compact tractors.  Kubota offers a more trustworthy, hi tech tractor.  Parts are freely available if maintenance is needed.  Kubota has been leading the sales market for sub compacts for a number of years and offer higher trade in and resale values.  [**] in the over 40 hp range, Kubota doesn’t measure up with Ford, Case, Massey Ferguson, John Deer or New Holland.  Their tractors are lighter duty and tend to damage down faster than other brands.   Leading the industry in use tractors is very tuff to claim.  Each brand has had their swings and roundabouts.  Massey Ferguson had the most trustworthy innovative tractor in 1965.  Even today, the 100 series has held their value.  According to the 2008 Hot Line Farm equipment Guide, the 165 series had an average auction price from $1,750 to $4,800, the 175 series had an average auction price from $1,900 to $9,500, and the 180 series had an average auction price from $1,600 to $7,000.  In 1966, John Deere took a leap before the contest with their 20 series.  With the 3020 and the 4020 came the Power Shift.  John Deere has been a leading tractor for years and have been known to hold their price the best.  The Ford 4000 and 5000 series were very hard and cheap tractors.  [**] the hydraulic capacity for the 3-point does not have as much lift as the newer Ford models.  The 8×2 transmission was very hard and almost indestructible, but the reverse speeds weren’t ideal.  The newer Ford models have an 8×8 transmission that’s more user friendly and easier to work on.  They offer more hydraulic capacity, front-wheel-drive, and nicer steering.   So which tractor is more reliable.  Each dealership will provide reason of why you should buy their tractor over another.  As far as I’m concerned , all of them have their powerful points and their puny points.  All of them have one thing in common, they will all eventually break down, particularly if they’re pounded and not maintained.  The tractor that is the easiest to repair and work on, with the most freely available parts will rely mostly on your experience and area.  So weather you are into Blue, Red, the other Red, Green, the other Blue, Orange, White, or any other color, very likely you’ll finally have to work on it.  Depending on what you plan to do with the tractor and your location should establish which tractor to purchase.

Jeep Cherokee Accident

On Friday I went to see my personal injury attorney for the fifth time. A couple of months before I was driving down Interstate 40 when a guy in a Geo Metro somehow managed to cross the divide and hit me. I suffered  a bit of damage because he was going rather fast. I just feel I was lucky to be in a larger vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, because I could have been injured a lot worse. My attorney says I have a very good case and that I should be able to have enough money to replace my SUV and pay for all my medical needs.

Getting the Right Loan that Worked for Us

Jim and I just drove off with our new truck today! We really took our time to find just the one we wanted and the loan officer was so nice in helping us understand all the choices in terms of Auto Loans. He walked us through everything so that we understood what the best deal would be for us. We are so grateful because this was our first major purchase; in the past we were always forced to take public transportation. We had no idea how far our money could go! We are so excited that we asked all the questions and were able to drive away with our new truck!
