Government Bids
My father works for a commercial glass company. He is the head salesman and in charge bidding different jobs around the city and state. He has often times been low on work and is stuck looking for jobs.
Recently he heard about government bids and has turned to that when low on work. He has done work on the county jail and many other government jobs.
This is just something that he will turn to when work is low, but it is a good option regardless. The contracts are usually more strict, where some jobs you can use your discretion, there are certain guidelines you have to follow when working with the government.
