Why use Biodiesel
Using biodiesel will also noticeably decrease the wear on your engine compared to gas diesel. Of course there are no highly lethal smoke and emissions related to biodiesel either. The advantages clearly talk for themselves.
Like anything, using Homemade Biodiesel has its issues. The difficulties related to biodiesel results from water being present in the fuel. There are some different issues that are related to water in the fuel. It decreases the power given to the engine and causes it to have a harder time beginning. Water also causes major corrosion in certain elements like water pumps and fuel lines. If the water freezes inside the fuel lines then that would pose a heavy problem too. In addition, having a heated tank does not help much either as it cause the production of microbes.
