Pick a Genre
“Pick a genre, any genre! If you do not see the genre you want, we will create it for you!”
This seems to the underlying theme amongst publishers today. About twenty years ago, there was a set list of the genres that authors were able to publish under. But as the years have progressed and our reading society is getting more involved in sensationalism and whatnot, new genres are began on an almost daily basis. Anything from 2012 books to Jane Austin horror is possible to obtain. So if you do not see a genre that you have thought of, you’ll definitely be able to sell it in a niche market.
