When getting a new tattoo, its very important to pick a good tattoo artist. This may sound like common sense, but so many people know absolutely nothing about the artist they choose. First, and most important, you can run the risk of getting an infection if you pick an artist that does not really know what he is doing. Second, you may not end up with a tattoo you are happy with, and unfortunately, tattoos are permanent. So if you are considering getting a tattoo, do a little research and choose an artist who you have seen samples of his work and he is known to be reputable.
