My husband and I bought a house this fall, and it came with a pool in the backyard. We had never owned a pool, so we didn’t have any of the supplies we’d need to care for the pool. Luckily, since it was the end of the season, we were able to get a swimming pool vacuum, skimmer, a solar liner, and a few other necessities at a discounted price on the Internet. We ended up spending much less online than we would have had we waited for the following spring and gone to a brick and mortar store. We’re all set to enjoy our new pool next summer!

There are so many iPhone rumors out there that it is hard to keep up with them all. Verizon today responded to predictions for Motorola Droid sales with only a brief statement on their actual results says iPhone 3g Cases. A spokeswoman for the carrier declined to say whether or not a rough estimate of 250,000 Droids sold is accurate but did say the company is “very pleased” with sales in just over a week since the Android phone reached stores. Recently, there was an article in the newspaper about one of the really cool Chicago Wedding Photographers and how the art of taking wedding photos has evolved. Having a photojournalist shooting the wedding is all the rage. No more posed and stale photos of handshakes, fake moments and all the other traditional stuff. Having creative and unique poses can still save some of the tradition but look much more interesting. I think I’m going to use the same photographer for my upcoming wedding, he’s very refreshing.

You may think that getting rid of a tree from your own property would be a fairly simple task, I thought so too, until I actually did it. I didn’t have too much trouble with cutting the tree down but when it came to the tree stump removal I was struggling. Eventually I gave in and had to call in the professionals. I’m very glad I did as while I was watching the guys grinding it out I realized there was no way that I would have been able to do it myself, especially without the machinery and equipment they had brought with them.
