I have been thinking about going back to school lately. I would like to get a degree since I do not currently have one. For the past few years I have been working as a lab assistant in an x-ray lab. I find the work interesting and would like to do more but I need a degree. I have been checking out x ray technician schools near me and there really are not any in my area. I know that this is what I want to do, so I do not want to just get any degree. I think I am going to look into online schools.

This past June I had the opportunity to go with a friend of mine and visit his mother in the Sierra Mountains near you someday national Park. I had never been to California before and it was a heck of an experience. When I got back I knew that I’d be visiting there again. In the meantime I wanted to find a house to buy. After I completed graduate school, I went on job interviews every day, and I was very nervous. That combined with the excessive sweating that I suffered from made it nearly impossible for me to feel comfortable during an interview, so I usually fumbled my way through and wouldn’t get the job. I have been enjoying retirement for the past three years. I can relate to what you are going through. Up until recently I was in the same boat as you. In the louder environments, I used to think, “Man, it’s too loud, how do I open? What am I supposed to be doing?” So I would end up stuck in my head, not opening, etc. Now I enjoy the higher energy venues. The other guys are right, you need to be having fun (I also suspect that you aren’t opening enough). If you’re not having fun, girls can sense that, and you find yourself stuck in rapport (if you don’t get blown out). Here’s what I do now…Dance around with some of the girls on the dance floor. You don’t have to be good, just move your hips and sway your arms, that’s all you need. When walking around the club, make sure you are smiling, always (I still forget to do this sometimes). Also, just observe and respond: “What a smile! Nice shirt. Why aren’t you smiling? Hey you guys look fun (and high five them).” Pending the response, move on, keep the interaction going, or re-open later.
